Dear Mini,
It's been almost a year since I've gotten around to writing! That just goes to show how busy life is. We went to Ireland over Christmas and had a lovely time with everyone there. We've started planning your birthday party already since that's only a few weeks away.

You started school in "erste Klasse" last September. To be honest I had been feeling a bit anxious beforehand wondering how you would adjust but you've been getting on really well at school which is great! Making friends, getting your homework done, learning lots. Naturally you also complain about the early starts and how different school is from Kindergarten where you used to be able to just play all day.

Your favourite show is still Miraculous Ladybug but you also love Unicorn Academy and Bluey. The weather has been freezing so we haven't been getting outside as much as I'd like. You are great at cycling and our next goal for us is learning to swim. Last Summer you did swim lessons- the first level, Wasserfrosch, and we are hoping to sign you up again for more lessons soon.

We went to the Christmas circus a few weeks ago and that was really fun to do as a family. I am hoping to bring you ice skating at the weekend. Life is hectic but good! I am so grateful to have you in my life.
